Meeting with the people of Colorado, especially those from our district is a favorite part of my job. It is a hoot when constituents come by to visit and see what the legislature is working on. One of the best parts of my job is to introduce future leaders to the legislature.
This week we had two future leaders shadow us. Jake Schmidt from Chaparral High School and Anker Eisenmann from Falcon 49 High School.

Applications are being accepted through April 15, 2017 for Pinnacol Foundation scholarships. These scholarships are open to Colorado high school and college students with a parent who has been seriously injured or killed on the job, whether or not that parent was insured by Pinnacol. Scholarships average $3500 per student per year and may be used at accredited colleges/universities, community colleges and vocational schools.
Since its inception in 2000, the Pinnacol Foundation has awarded nearly $4 million in scholarships to over 400 students.
