Many of us here in House District 19 commute north to work five days a week or more, and are forced to battle worse and worse traffic congestion every month as our state continues to grow.
In my first term of service as your State Representative, I’ve led the charge to actually do something about it, by focusing state resources to widen I-25 from Monument all the way to Castle Rock.
In fact, a recent piece by the Gazette Editorial Boarddescribed me as a “notable exception” to the do-nothing politicians that promise improvement every time they run for office, but are ineffective when they are elected.
Last week they even ran a followup piece, titled “Progress Begins”, heralding our work to widen I-25 to 3 lanes between Castle Rock and Monument.
“Lundeen so understands the value of the widening (I-25) that he is doing everything possible to speed things up in getting it approved.” – The Gazette Editorial Board
While I am proud of our accomplishments so far, I am far from satisfied.
When I first ran to be our representative, I promised to provide leadership in action that will create effective, real-life solutions for the people of our community.
I remain steadfast in that commitment, and I ask you for your vote in our mail ballot election this fall, due by November 8th.

With your support, we will be able to continue to take the fight to Denver and provide a way forward on essential issues like transportation in our community.
